For the third year in a row Nokia has taken the top spot as the most trusted brand in India for 2013 according to Brand Trust Report. The study, which has only been running for three years, lists 1100 companies in 211 categories. It is conducted by the Trust Research Advisory.
Samsung and Sony have both climbed two positions from last year and now occupy second and third places respectively. It is interesting to see that the top three most trusted companies are all telecommunications and technology orientated. LG has dived down seven rankings, now being in tenth place.
Despite Nokia having a few issues with Indian officials about taxes from their factory in Chennai, this seems to have not dented thier popularity. The news comes as Nokia recently launched their new Lumia range in the country, and as the company rolls out their Xpress Browser for Airtel customers.
